Hear what’s new with your association and what’s planned for the future. The Board of Directors and Standing Committees have been busy with full agendas of activities.

1:45 pm – 3:00 pm: Panel Discussion "AUB made me"
Alumni of various professional backgrounds and generations will reflect on how the University influenced their lives.

3:15 pm – 4:30 pm: WAAAUB North American Chapters Roundtable Discussion
A forum for WAAAUB chapters in North America to exchange ideas about events, community involvement, and outreach strategies that will help build strong and effective chapter networks. All are welcome.

7.30 pm for 8.00 pm until 11.00PM: North American Gathering Dinner
Reception followed by brief program , dinner and live Arabic musical entertainment.

Welcome and opening remarks from the Michigan Chapter, WAAAUB President Ambassador Khalil Makkawi, and AUB President Peter F. Dorman. The keynote speaker will be James Zogby, President of the Arab American Institute and author of the recently published book, Arab Voices.

Sunday, November 14
10:00 am – 11:30 am: WAAAUB wrap up session
A review of the information covered during the previous day’s sessions and plans for the future.

11:45 am – 1:00 pm: Farewell Brunch

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Arab American National Museum Tour

ARABS GONE WILD!!!

The "Arabs Gone Wild" Tour is going back on the road this fall with an 8 city tour!

After sold out shows this past spring in DC, San Francisco, Anaheim, and LA, they are now heading to Sacramento (9/16), Seattle (9/18), Portland (9/19), NYC (10/2), Boston (10/9), Toronto (10/16), Dallas (11/5) and Houston (11/6)!

The tour stars internationally known comedy headliners Dean Obeidallah, Maysoon Zayid and Aron Kader. Plus joining the shows in each city will be some very funny special guest comedians!

Middle Eastern Women and Kids for Print Ad

Taylor Royall Casting is in need of Middle Eastern women with kids age 2-4 and Caucasian women with kids age 4 or younger for a print shoot for the USDA. The shoot is to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles. They are casting asap and the shoot will be between September 20-24.
