Arabesque


The Friends of the Kennedy Center is recruiting volunteers to assist with the ARABESQUE: Arts of the Arab World Festival taking place from Monday, February 23 through Sunday, March 15.

Arabesque is an international festival showcasing the varied cultures of the 22 Arab nations that represent the Arab world. In cooperation with the League of Arab States, the three-week festival brings together some 800 Arab artists, many of whom are making their U.S. debut, in performances of music, dance, and theater, as well as exhibitions featuring art installations, fashion, a cuisine, a souk (market), and much more.
